My Experience at TaTaMi

Just recently -im talking less than one month- i've heard about TaTaMi Restaurant, and all what i've heard about were positive recommendations ..

So i decided to go and give it a try after my friend told me that the Master Chef of TaTaMi is her cousin, The talented Kuwaiti Dana Al-Tourah ;)

We went there earlier this week, TaTaMi is located in Shaima Tower, adjacent to Al-Daw Tower. Our reservation was at 8PM, the place was kind of empty when we first arrived, but soon it did get so packed and people kept cooming even after 10PM mashallaah, so i recommend you to have your reservation confirmed before you go there!





































Our table was waiting for us at the time we arrived, my friend Muneera asked the waiter if he could call the chef Dana so that we can meet her. Dana was very friendly, she kept recommending some of the dishes and helped us choose the others!

She was moving between tables, making sure that every body is satisfied and didnt mind taking negative or positive comments from guests .. I'm pretty sure ALL of the comments were positive ;)

For starters we've ordered;
Sesame Nori Chips




















Negimaki stuffed with Asparagus and Scallions




















Ebi Tempura




















Vegetable tempura




















Ebi Gyoza/ Spinach and Shitake Gyoza




















Sweet Chili Shrimps





















We've ordered 2 kinds of salads;
Spinach and Shitake Mushroom Salad and TaTaMi Kani Salad





















We've ordered many kinds of maki rolls;
Ebi Tempura Roll, Golden Dragon YUMM, Nikki Fried Roll, Yasai -veg.- Roll, Exotic Roll, Crispy Almond Roll YUMMY ALSO!























































The Main Dishes were;
Seafood Teppanyaki and Chicken Teriyaki
















Veg. Noddles (Yasai Yaki Udon)





















And for desserts we've ordered Chocolate Truffle Molten .. Really amazing, and lite!!







































Lots of food ha ?? Did i mention that we were 6 ?? :P LOL The total price turned to be KD85 which is very reasonable to me, according to what we have ordered.

All the food was amazing, everything really .. Didnt have any negative comment on the dishes we've ordered! Really enjoyed my experience there and really dont mind going there again! By the way, i already have a reservation with my friends for Saturday dinner .. Can't wait :))
