The Breakfast Club

I can call The Breakfast Club "THE" place to hang out these days ;) Specially if you are a "breakfast" person, then defenitaly you are gonna LOVE it ..

The Breakfast Club is a new place owned by young Kuwaiti guys, and it is specialized in breakfast and brunch! The place is so small and cozy, it reminded me alot with The Early Bird's Branch in Jabreya. When we first reached the place at nearly 10am there was only 2 tables left and we decided to have the one outdoor! Then people started to come afterword and had to put their names and come back after a while, since reservation is not accepted! Thank God we grabed our own ;P but so bad i couldn't take any pictures for the enterior decoration! Maybe in our next visits!

The menu was set by the famous chef Adla Al-Sharhan and the dishes varies from International, Italian, Lebanese , Indian and Kuwaiti plates! We decided to order: The Egg Benedict, The Fried Egg Sandwich and The Club's Italian Egg Frittata ..

P.S.: Sorry for the poor quality of the pics, since all the pics were taken by our mobiles cams!

The food took a while till it arrived, but it was really okay for us since we were chit-chatting ;)

Everything looked SO DAMN YUMMY!! The taste of the egg benedict was AMAZING, the combination of the sweet muffen, the turkey slices and the soury tangy flavour of the sauce on the top of the eggs was so unbelievable .. IT IS A MUST TRY DISH!

The Fried Eggs Sandwich also tasted yummy with the rich flavour of the bacon ,, i had to try a small piece of the sandwich since i was Partially FULL .. But it was a success also ;)

Their Egg Frittata was delicious, eggs with a mix of parmesan and mozarella cheese and layered potatoes with some special sauce and cheese on top YUMM!!

Then we've ordered some sweets to enjoy with the coffee, we've ordered The Belgian Waffles and Pancakes!!

The waffles reminded me with the one in Dean & Deluca, but here it was so rich, full of flavour and loved the extra caramel drizzzles ;)

The Pancake was to die for .. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Specially with the scoop of nutella on the top of it and the maple syrup! It was so moist and melting in ur mouth!

The Breakfast Club is in its soft opening phase, and so far everything was SO PERFECT! Loved to see the owners helping in serving food and taking orders ya36eehom alf 3afyaa .. Loved the whole experience and surely gonna give it an other visit to try some more dishes, specially with this amazing weather!

Wish The Breakfast Club owners TONS of Good Luck ;)

BYRON vs. Giraffe

After all the positive reviews that i have read about BYRON i really wanted to try it, and it was on the TOP of the list of the restaurants that i have to try on my last trip to London!

But before we've tried BYRON, we had the chance to try Giraffe Burger, and i would like to compare between both!

So let's start!

BYRON:

BYRON is located in the Fine Dining Area at Westfield mall! You would recognize the place from the COWS symbols out side ;D

When we first walk in, and while we were waiting for the waiter to guide us to our table, we found this box of Tangerines that look so appetitting and fresh that let my sister ask the waiter if she could grab one to eat it ;P and she said YES!!

The smell ?! Yeah lasted ALL DAY!

We've all ordered the Classic CheeseBurger, mine medium well and my sister's well-done, with Home-Made skin on chips and Onion rings ..

The burgers were SO DELICIOUS!! Soft juicy patties inside a fresh bun, all came with tomatoes, onion, lettuce and a piece of a juicy pickle .. i really was able to finish my WHOLE BURGER!

Really loved it and loved their home made fries that came with the skin on ;) and the onion rings were amazing too!!

BYRON is SO RECOMMENDED for any one who is gonna visit London ..

Love their cute buisness card ;)

Giraffe:

Giraffe is a burger joint that is located in Marylebone, a few minutes walk from Selfridges! When you first enter the place, you'll love the americanised atmosphere with all the music playing on and the theme of the place!

The waiter handed us the menu and we all chose CheeseBurgers .. With fries and onion rings on the side!

If you would notice; we always order the same main dishes in similar types of restaurants ;P

All the burgers came with this buns with seeds which looked so yummy, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickle on the side wth the house salsa ..

I really didn't enjoy my burger that much! The patty was kind of dry, flavour-less and not as juicy as the ones we had at BYRON!

I took a look at their brunch menu and found that they have some intresting stuff!! So go and give it a try ppl ;)

Italian Restaurents in London

As i mentioned in a previous post, our two main things that we were doing in london were: Shopping, and Enjoying YUMMY Food!!

You won't believe, me and my sisters and friend, each had a list of recommended restaurants/cafes to try all over london .. Each one mentioning the name of the place and what food to order ;)

We were into all kinds of food, specially the Italian food, it was the #1 choice that we would go for it day after day .. We really didn't mind eating Italian every day!

So we've tried several Italian restaurents in London, and here is a quick review and pictures of course ;) about each, listing them from our MOST FAV. till the Least ;)

1. Zizzi:

Zizzi was our MOST FAVOURITE Restaurent in the whole trip actually! We had dinner there twice, and i didn't really mind having dinner there for a third tme ;)

We've ordered:

Tomato Pesto Bread

Bruschetta

La Bufala Rustica

Beef Lasagna

Mushroom Risotto

As you will see in the upcoing restaurants, the 2 main dishes that we always used to order in ALL the Italian restaurents were the Lasagna and the Pizza ;) and let me tell you somthing! Zizzi serve the BEST Lasagna EVER!!

2. Harrod's Pizzeria:

Harrod's Pizzeria were known by selling the BEST pizza in london .. But in my opinion, i loved the Zizzi's Rustica more! The lasagna also wasn't bad at all, although i loved Zizzi's more ;)

We've ordered:

Pizza Margreta

Pizza Parmigiana

Beef Lasagna

3. PREZZO

Our last Italian meal was at Prezzo .. They have an amazing food and atmosphere; We've ordered:

Bread Board

Italian Nachos

La Fungi Pizza

Beef Lazagna

4. La Locanda

When we read "Since 1967" at the restaurant's sign we did't give a second thought and immediately decided to have our dinner there!

The food was average really .. But my youngest sis Tami loved their pizza alot! We've ordered:

Tomato Soup

Pizza Margreta

Mideteranian Pizza

Beef Lasagna

White and Green Tagliatella with Mushrooms in a Creamy sauce

5.ASK:

ASK used to be on of the most amazing italian restaurants in London, but this time we didn't like the food alot! Or as i may say compared to the other Italian restaurants we've tried, ASK was our least favourite!

WE've Ordered:

Caprese Salad

Pizza wth Rocca Leaves and Olives " Can't remember the name!"

Beef Lasagna

Vegetable Ravioli

I loved how they presented the recipt ;)

Enough Bal3a??! Hope You've Enjoyed the journey to Italy .. Oops i mean London ;D
